The UAV All‑Domain Sensing Radar Series Makes a Spectacular Debut; Nanoradar Unveils Its Solutions at the 2026 World Drone Conference.
2026-05-22
Abstract
From May 21 to 23, the 10th World Unmanned Aircraft Systems Conference and UASE Drone Exhibition 2026 was held in Shenzhen. Nanoradar Technology showcased its comprehensive suite of all‑range, full‑band, multi‑platform, and versatile UAV‑wide‑area perception radars, featuring five new models and nearly 20 millimeter‑wave radar products for unmanned aerial vehicles, thereby fully demonstrating Nanoradar’s product portfolio and technological expertise in the field of UAV sensing.

I. Full-range coverage: Low-altitude, all‑area coverage from 0.2 to 3,000 meters.
The drone‑borne radar showcased this time offers a detection range from 0.2 to 3,000 meters, providing full‑area coverage of the mainstream operational and regulatory domains in today’s civilian low‑altitude economy. Whether performing precision tasks close to the ground or conducting long‑range cruising at medium to high altitudes, it delivers stable and reliable radar support. In addition, its frame rate spans 10 Hz to 500 Hz, enabling it to meet the diverse real‑time requirements of applications such as fixed‑altitude obstacle avoidance and high‑speed target tracking.

II. Full Frequency Range: Comprehensive coverage across the 24/60/77/80 GHz bands
We have developed a full‑band millimeter‑wave radar product portfolio covering 24 GHz, 60 GHz, 77 GHz, and 80 GHz, meeting the frequency‑allocation regulations and application requirements of various countries and regions, and offering global drone customers more flexible radar‑product options.

III. Full-Platform: Global Collaboration, Seamless Integration with Open-Source Flight Control Platforms
Nanoradar is an official partner of four open-source flight control platforms—APM, PX4, FMT, and ACFLY. It supports mainstream PX4 flight controller hardware, such as the Pixhawk 4 and Cube Orange, as well as APM hardware platforms like the Pixhawk 2.4.8. Nanoradar provides deep integration with PX4’s MAVLink protocol and uORB communication framework, along with APM’s MAVLink driver architecture, enabling seamless connectivity and plug-and‑play operation.

IV. Full Form Factor: Compatible with UAV platforms ranging from micro to large sizes
Nanoradar’s drone radar product portfolio covers the needs of platforms ranging from micro‑size to large‑size UAVs, offering everything from a compact 35×35 mm obstacle‑avoidance radar that can be seamlessly integrated into lightweight small drones for streamlined, low‑weight deployment, to a larger 210×218 mm phased‑array radar designed to meet the low‑altitude sensing requirements of eVTOLs and other large‑scale unmanned aircraft.

The exhibition’s highlights are still unfolding.
