Many UAV radars are not incapable of “seeing far.” 
Rather — “cannot see it all” 
Launched by Nanoradar, High-Precision Rotating Platform for UAV Radar 
To truly make radar a reality, 360° Environmental Perception 。 

I. Four Key Characteristics of the Rotating Platform 
1. 4-speed adjustment

Supports multi-level speed adjustment at 3 Hz, 5 Hz, 10 Hz, and 20 Hz, with speed control accuracy of ±1 RPM. This allows flexible selection of the rotation speed to meet various radar scanning requirements, balancing long-range detection with high scan refresh rates.


2. Grating-level position control 
Integrated grating sensor enables radar position detection and control, supports rotation to a specified angle with an angular detection error of ≤±0.2°, and provides precise angular information for target localization.

3. Wireless Design: Seamless Transmission of Energy and Data

By employing wireless power supply and high-speed data communication, this design eliminates slip-ring wear and cable entanglement, thereby ensuring stable power delivery and high-speed data transmission while enhancing system reliability and service life.

4. High Robustness: Unfazed by Maneuvers, as Steady as Mount Tai 
During maneuvering flight, the UAV’s rotor speed fluctuates by no more than ±5 RPM, ensuring stable operation even under complex conditions such as acceleration and turning, thereby maintaining continuous and stable radar scanning. 
 

II. Platform-Based Mechanical Scanning: Unleashing 360° Perception Capabilities of the Radar

The platform-driven radar scanning enables 360° detection of the drone’s surrounding environment. It can identify obstacles such as trees, utility poles, and power lines, ensuring safe flight and making it widely suitable for applications like agricultural spraying and inspection drones.

 

III. Open Collaboration: Co-Developing a 360° Perception Solution for Drones 
Nanoradar has completed the R&D and validation of its rotary platform, which delivers stable 360° mechanical scanning for millimeter-wave radar.
