Maximum 1000m! Nanoradar Releases New Generation of UAV Altimeter Radar

2025-01-07

Abstract

When the altimeter radar is applied to the unmanned aerial vehicle, do you have any of the following problems: data jump, the blind area is large, the range is short......
Nanoradar Launches New Generation UAV Altimeter Radar UAM231

Breakthrough core technology: data stability, long distance 1000 m, small blind area 0.2m

Far distance
Linear frequency modulated continuous wave (LFMCW) technology is used, the maximum height measurement distance is 1000 m, the stability is 800 m, and it is basically not affected by wind, rain, fog and other bad weather, all-weather work, and the output data is stable.

Stable data

Static clutter filtering algorithm is used to avoid data fluctuation, which can ensure the stability of radar output data and effectively prevent the occurrence of data jump after more than a thousand flight reliability tests.

Small blind area

The blind area is 0.2m, which is 2 times higher than that of similar products. The ranging accuracy reaches centimeter level (± 0.02m), which is 2 times higher than that of similar products. The high precision and small blind area can ensure the smooth and safe take-off and landing of UAV.

Safe, reliable and accurate ground imitation

Self-verification of software and hardware

UAM231 integrates software and hardware self-checking function, which can effectively help customers confirm the correctness of data, further improve security, ensure reliable output, and meet the application of various complex environments.

Imitation information output
Compared with the altitude information output by GPS, the altitude data output by UAM231 has ground simulation information, which can effectively display the undulation characteristics of the ground and is not affected by the terrain environment.

Multi-sensor fusion
Integrating six-axis gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer, it can accurately monitor the state of the aircraft, send out over-attitude angle warning when tilting, prompt customers to adjust the installation direction or flight attitude of the radar, ensure that the radar is parallel to the ground, and ensure the B est detection performance.

Strong adaptability to complex environment

All-day and all-weather work
Compared with the traditional barometer altimeter, the millimeter wave radar altimeter is basically not affected by wind, rain, fog and other bad weather, can work all day, the output data is stable, and is not limited by light, not afraid of the night, can work all day.

High protection level

The IP67 rated enclosure makes the UAM231 ideal for high speed, high shock and high vibration environments for most heavy UAV applications and ensures stable operation in rain, snow, wet and foggy environments, salt fog corrosion, sandstorms and other environments.

Anti-interference

The linear frequency modulated continuous wave (LFMCW) technology is used to distinguish and screen targets from two dimensions of speed and distance, which significantly enhances the false alarm filtering capability of radar and reduces the impact of external interference on target detection.

Easy integration, multi-interface, small size, low power consumption

The interface is richer and more flexible to use

Provide multiple UART (TTL)/CAN/RS232/RS422/RS485 interfaces to meet the diverse integration needs of customers and achieve efficient and convenient system docking

Lightweight and low power consumption
With a weight of about 200 G and a power consumption as low as 1.8 W, the UAV has a small load and a small power load, which ensures that the UAV has a strong endurance after carrying radar.

Compact size and wide adaptability
The volume of the single board is reduced to 130 × 70 × 14.5mm. Through the integrated single chip design, the volume is greatly reduced, and it is perfectly suitable for various types and specifications of UAV platforms.

Seamless docking with mainstream open source flight control platform

As the official partner of open source flight control, Nanoradar UAV radar has achieved seamless docking with the open source flight control platform (APM: Ardupilot), and its communication protocol is perfectly adapted to the official platform protocol, which can be plug-and-play, providing customers with a "one-stop" intelligent solution from perception to control.

Multiple application scenarios

UAM231 can be applied to logistics UAV fixed height, aircraft low-altitude landing, UAV vertical traction, flying car fixed height and other scenarios, which deeply integrates radar technology into various fields of low-altitude economy and injects new impetus into the development of low-altitude economy.
